What Are You Prepared To Do With the Life Christ Gave You?

A new year has a way of exposing men.

Not because of resolutions or fresh calendars. But because excuses run out.

The holidays are over.

The noise settles.

And what remains is the same question Christ has always asked those who follow Him.

Not what you believe.

But how you live.

Most men already know the story.

They’ve heard the sermons.

They understand the cost Christ paid.

But understanding was never the point.

The question has always been this:

What are you prepared to do with the life Christ gave you?

Transformation doesn’t come from information. It comes from response.

From action.

From obedience.

From discipline.

From alignment.

Living redeemed is not something you talk about on Sundays or reflect on once a year. It’s a daily decision.

Especially when obedience costs comfort.

A new year doesn’t give you a clean slate.

It gives you a mirror.

And every man eventually faces the same truth:

Christ didn’t give His life so you could stay distracted, passive, or spiritually idle.He gave His life so you could live redeemed - with clarity, order, conviction, and a legacy your family can trust.

That kind of life requires evaluation. Not emotional reflection.Honest examination.

Four Areas Every Man Must Face

1. What must be surrendered?

Pride.Control.Habits that drain strength. Patterns that preserve comfort but limit growth.

You cannot live redeemed while holding onto what keeps you comfortable.

2. What must be strengthened?

Discipline.Integrity.Leadership at home. Consistency when no one is watching.

Strength isn’t discovered. It’s built through repeated, costly decisions.

3. What must begin or end?

There are actions you already know must start. And behaviors you already know must stop.

Both demand obedience. Both shape the man you become.

4. What must realign under Christ?

Your marriage.

Your priorities.

Your time.

Your decisions.

Your identity.

If Christ is not the anchor, everything drifts toward comfort.

A new year gives every man a choice.

Repeat last year with better intentions. Or raise the standard and live differently.

This season isn’t asking you to learn more. It’s asking you to respond.

With obedience. With discipline. With action that reflects gratitude, not just belief.

So as this year unfolds, there is only one question that matters:

What are you prepared to do with the life Christ gave you?
